Before You Begin

Choose the Right Spot
Pick an open, visible area — clear of trees, power lines, and overhead obstructions.
Ground Requirements
Create a hole 12" wide and 26–30" deep. Depth may vary based on soil type.
Concrete Tip
Use 60–80 lbs. of quick-set concrete to secure the ground sleeve. Allow 24–48 hours to cure before raising the pole.
Drainage Tip
Optional: Add a few inches of gravel at the bottom of the hole to help with drainage and prevent frost heave.

Install Your Americana Flagpole in 6 Simple Steps
Prepare Your Tools
You’ll need:
- Shovel or post-hole digger
- Level
- Quick-set concrete (60–80 lbs.)
- Bucket of water (for mixing)
Dig a hole 12" wide and 26–30" deep. This will hold your ground sleeve securely.
Set the Ground Sleeve
Place the sleeve upright in the center of the hole.
Use a level to ensure it’s vertical.
Pour Concrete
Mix and pour concrete around the sleeve until full.
Allow 24–48 hours to cure fully before inserting the flagpole.
Assemble the Flagpole Sections
Connect the six 4-ft aluminum sections using the interlocking sleeves.
Line up the halyard system and secure with provided bolts.
Raise Your Flag
Insert the pole into the ground sleeve.
Attach your 4x6 American-made flag using the halyard and cleat system. Raise it proudly.

Most customers install it solo with basic tools and a little planning. A helper makes raising the pole easier, but it’s not required.

26–30 inches deep is ideal. This provides the support needed for long-term durability in most soil types.

Use 60–80 lbs of quick-set concrete. Pour evenly, ensure the sleeve is level, and let it cure 24–48 hours.

A flat surface is best. Minor slopes can be leveled out during the concrete curing phase with a level.

It mounts easily to the top of the pole and turns on automatically at dusk.

Most areas don’t require one, but some HOAs or towns may have height restrictions. It’s best to check locally.
